Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (DHcFT) and Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust (DCHS) are independent organisations working together within the ‘Joined Up Care Derbyshire’ health and care system.  As we embrace a period of significant strategic workforce transformation in the sector, our Boards are each seeking a dedicated Director for our People functions.   DHcFT are seeking a Director of People and Inclusion and DCHS are seeking a Director of People and Organisational Effectiveness.    

DHcFT specialises in the provision of Mental Health, Substance Misuse and wider specialist services such as eating disorders and DCHS specialises in providing a wide range of community healthcare services and on the improvement of the health and wellbeing of our populations. Both trusts provide Children’s Universal and Learning Disability services across the county. Together we have successfully established a shared People Services function; hosted by DCHS.  

DHcFT are seeking a Director of People and Inclusion.  Being ‘positively inclusive’ is a key strand of our strategy and our services are high profile within the Long-Term Plan for the NHS; with demand and awareness continuing to grow. The Trust has a commitment to a clear ‘people first’ agenda and is seeing an ongoing increase in the number of colleagues recommending the Trust as a place to work.  We have recently completed a comprehensive review by the CQC and, following positive feedback, are looking forward to receiving the outcome of this inspection shortly.  Having a stable leadership team for several years has enabled the Trust to focus on innovative inclusion activities and we are proud to have been involved in spearheading inclusion campaigns at a local and national level.  

DCHS are seeking a Director of People and Organisational Effectiveness.  At the heart of system reform in the NHS, we are focused on the preventative agenda and on ensuring patients receive high quality care as close to home as possible. Recently rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC we have much to celebrate and we continue to seek further opportunities to innovate and collaborate.  Our commitment to people; both staff and patients is fundamental to the way in which our organisation has flourished.  This is a role in an established and high performing team; leading the shared People Services function and supporting our organisation’s journey of continual improvement in a dynamic operating environment.
